Hormone Balance Program
Using the research based model of Balanced Interventional Wellness™, our team has created the ultimate personalized program to address hormone imbalances in men and women. While many physicians use conventional testing and traditional pharmaceuticals to address these problems, often unsuccessfully, we approach your problems from a different perspective.
Our trademarked Balanced Interventional Wellness model, strives to uncover the root causes of symptoms and correct them. This approach enables us to help our patients minimize their medications, resolve their symptoms, and achieve optimal health, wellness, and hormone balance.
What are the root causes?
Because hormone balance can only be accomplished when the whole body is balanced, a full wellness evaluation is necessary whenever hormones are assessed. It is not optimal to just ‘replace’ low hormones when the body is capable of making them when it is in its optimal state. It is very important to remember that the body’s system of hormones not only includes the sex hormones but also leptin (satiety), ghrelin (hunger), insulin, and cortisol, to name a few. If you feel your male or female hormones are out of balance, you must understand that these hormones are strongly influenced by gut (or intestinal) health, your daily diet, your micronutrient deficiencies, your exercise regime, stress, and sleep patterns. We consider all of these factors in our evaluations.
What we, as your physicians, find is that your hormone evaluation and treatment is not a single short visit. We cannot address your fatigue, insomnia, weight gain, low libido, brain fog, poor memory, or hormone issues unless we evaluate you as a complete and whole individual.
To help you successfully implement the treatment plan created for you by your doctor, we will often recommend also meeting with our nutritional therapists. Our nutritional therapists are not contracted with insurance companies; therefore there is an out of pocket fee associated with these visits. Your daily habits of sleep, exercise, and nutrition must be addressed at the same time that your hormones are evaluated to maximize the results YOU seek!
